These fabulous clip-on earrings depict the fertility deity, Kokopelli, who is typically depicted as a flute player adorned with a feather headpiece. He is venerated by some Native American cultures in the Southwestern US. Kokopelli presides over childbirth & agriculture, but he is also a trickster god & represents the spirit of music.
